"My name is JaMal Sam, and I'm writing this letter to briefly & accurately share with you the person I know to be Percy James.
I met Percy back in 2010 while incarcerated at Michigan Reformatory in Ionia, MI. Our mutual interest for art & music originally provided the stage for a familiarity, but back then it was common for young guys in prison to create bonds based on little to nothing. I had no idea how authentic, gifted, and kindhearted this young man was, but I would soon find out.
We use to workout together, and during those workouts we'd talk about our past & the mistakes we made as individuals. I'm a very optimistic person, a characteristic that makes it tough to have an intelligent conversation with some of the people you'll find here. Not Percy though, he showed me how to plant my optimism in my thoughts & let my actions speak for the future I desire.
I left the Reformatory to head up North for a few years, so Percy & I hadn't seen one another for some time, and then in 2014 while standing on my floor I see one of my closest friends walk into the unit I was in! I was so excited to see my guy, and after catching up on lost time I was pleased to see how much of him had evolved. This man who could once draw, and write raps taught himself how to paint & play the guitar! In only a few years he extracted his gifts & has been a shining light through his craft constantly. We were given more time to build while up north before he left. I was blessed to have met the special Woman in his life & I understand better now the possibility of love because of the relationship they have.
There is absolutely no way I can say enough about Mr. James in this letter. I can only hope & Pray that you grant this inspiring Man a chance in his maturity to re-enter society. The impact he has on us in here could be multiplied immensely if he is given the opportunity to help build the minds of our youth, and show them the options they have to prevent them from ending up here. He has a very loyal support system, and I would be willing to guarantee he will never return to prison.
Thank you dearly for you time. Please stay safe, and mask up!"

"I've known Percy for around 9 or 10 years now.
How I would describe him as a person is someone who's extremely passionate about doing whatever he sets his mind on doing. Percy is a very focused, driven, and determined individual who will stop at nothing in regards to making sure that any goal he sets his sights on, are accomplished, and achieved. Percy is also a person who loves to help people reach their full potential, being that he knows what its like to be told he can't do something that he believes he can.
The influence that he's had on my life has to be the way he inspired me to become the best version of myself. I'm a songwriter/producer and have been for some time now and was long before I met Percy. However, it wasn't until I met Percy, that I was able to tap into a deeper and more in depth aspect of my talents. He taught me that no matter how good you think you are, strive to be better. Percy's mindset was much like the late great Kobe Bryant, whom which I was a huge fan of, which is probably why I was so drawn to him.
I truly believe in my heart that upon Percy's release that his hard working and constant striving for perfection like mentality, will undoubtedly rub off on anybody, or any area he chooses to step foot in. Many people try to project this image and persona, but this is just who Percy is naturally and I wish him and his beautiful wife nothing but the best."

"I've only known Percy for a short amount of time, maybe 6 months at most. however in this short amount of time I was able to determine that he was a passionate and driving individual!
Being around him was an extremely positive experience. His influence on me was productivity, if I could sum it up in one word. However, it was more than that. He inspired me to go for things far reaching and he instilled morals and principles that has made me a more productive and aware person myself.. Overall his influences were of a strong positive nature!
Upon his release, the impact I see him having is sensational! I believe he will engage with his community in away where as they can depend on him as a true leader and mobilizer of good. He will not only hold himself accountable but also those around him. He will strive to bring out the best in all those around him because that's just P for you! He is truly someone I would want to have around myself, family and friends because he will challenge us all to look deep within in ourselves to find and correct our moral compass!"

I've known Percy for one year and the impact of knowing such a righteous leader has been evident in my life.!!! Banjo Percy has an infectious personality. He is the type of person who doesn't see materialism. He only sees morality. He is a man of principle, extremely vital to a certain initiated group of elite beings. A true leader and a man of honor and nobility. He’s a brother, friend, mentor and a ‘hard ass’ when necessary. Percy James is an asset to the bonds he deems worthy of his time.
The impact he leaves is undeniably supreme consciousness. He gives hope to a generation in desperate need of it. He showed me how to navigate in a place of remorseless lost souls. He allowed me to converse on an algorithm people rarely get to in this lifetime He is indeed the revolutionary our ancestors warned us about. I'm blessed to be able to have unity amongst such an esteemed person.
Percy is an innovator and he will rise to any occasion in front of his path and will inspire in the process. Personally, I would love for my brother to focus on himself, for quite some time and evolve around the world he is set to be released in ... but with the thought patterns he possesses, his movements will be nothing short of monumental. My best advice is to make sure your stake in the empire is secured because he's definitely sure to reside in prosperity."
